Your project stays in your control
If you introduce me to only one remodeling professional, how do I know the price is competitive?
West Valley Remodeling Guide is designed to give you independent planning context before you make a hiring decision. That includes clearer scope, local cost guidance and questions that help you understand what a proposal includes or excludes. You are never required to accept an introduced professional’s proposal, and you are always free to obtain another estimate independently. Our privacy model means we do not distribute the same project to multiple contractors, it does not take away your ability to compare options on your own.
Do you sell or send my information to multiple contractors?
No. We are intentionally not building a multi contractor lead marketplace. If you request an introduction and an appropriate remodeling professional has been verified for your location and project type, we may share the information needed to facilitate that single introduction.
Am I obligated to hire someone you introduce?
No. A project review or introduction does not obligate you to hire anyone. You remain free to continue planning, obtain another estimate independently or decide not to move forward.
How do you decide whether a remodeling professional is appropriate for my project?
The intended review considers project type, location, scope, timing and provider fit. We only work with licensed remodeling professionals that have great reviews from their customers.
Can West Valley Remodeling Guide tell me whether a quote is reasonable?
Our cost and planning guides are designed to give you context around scope, allowances, exclusions and the factors that move remodeling costs. The ranges we show are purposeful so you don't get taken advantage of should you not decide to use our service.
What if a contractor proposal is much higher than I expected?
First make sure the proposal is pricing the same scope you had in mind. Structural work, plumbing relocation, electrical upgrades, finish selections, allowances, permits and exclusions can materially change the total. A large difference is a reason to ask better questions. It is not automatically proof that a contractor is overpriced.
What does “Protect” mean in Plan • Visualize • Protect?
It means keeping greater control over your project information and avoiding marketplace style distribution to multiple contractors for solicitation. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does the Room Designer create construction ready plans?
No. The Room Designer is a visualization and planning tool. It is intentionally instructed to preserve recognizable architecture and favor contractor realistic changes, but a qualified professional still needs to verify structure, plumbing, electrical systems, code, permits, HOA requirements and product dimensions.
